Field Science likes to turn this thinking on its head by being at the forefront of the industry. We are constantly driving forward with new ideas on mineral applications, uses in nature, methods of application and sources of new minerals. Research is necessary as it gives you a starting point for progress but, as Mr Loomis says, rely solely on research at your peril.
